Meh, people watch all sorts of stuff like that. How many seasons did Friends run?
But I think that’s WHY it has such a following. I can barely stand some of the characters and many many of the points on that show, but I have watched all six seasons because every now and then you get a feeling or line that really says something meaningful. And I think when the show came out female friendships did come second in the media, and on the show they came first. I won’t be seeing the movie, but I will willingly admit I enjoyed more than a few episodes of the show.
