Alright, giving up the internet.
Until I have at LEAST one entire chapter finished. I’m kind of curious to see how long I can last.
Although I guess I should outline some rules:
-Google Maps is allowed
-Bill paying and bank account monitoring are allowed
-no Facebook
-no Tumblr
-no shopping
-e-mail once a week
-starts Sunday June 13th at 12:00 AM

AAP Reverses Position on FGC In Response to... →
I can’t believe it took AAP almost a fucking month to reverse their position on FGM. Then again many of their members are still making plenty of money performing male circumcisions, so I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised.
I'm such a sucker.
I always feel SO BAD when young sad-looking monotone kids knock on my door and ask me if I want to buy a magazine subscription or take a flyer or order this and that and the other.
I always feel bad for them. Which is why I’m going to give a 12 year-old $20 to mow my lawn. Plus it really needs it, and Josh isn’t off until Sunday.

I am so glad to be home.
Today was SUCH a long day at work, our last patient didn’t leave until after seven. As I drove home I got worked up about all the horrible stressful things that happened today and by the time I actually got here I was ready to just sit on the front porch and cry for a long time.
And then I saw Josh, and he gave me a hug and I wished him happy birthday in person for the first time all day.
